Privacy Policy
Bnctl Bank does not sell, exchange or display any information related to Bnctl Mobile Banking services to any unauthorized party. All customer banking transactions and other account information are kept confidential in accordance with applicable legal provisions in Timor-Leste as well as Bank Bnctl's internal policies.
Security
2.1. Security System
- Username: Customer's identity used to log in to Bnctl Mobile Banking.
- Password: A secure combination (e.g., Bnctl@2023) of uppercase, lowercase, characters, and numbers.
- OTP (One-Time Password): A secret code sent via registered phone or email to validate transactions.
- The app cannot be installed on rooted or jailbroken devices.
- Use of TLS 1.3 for secure data transmission.
- Compatible with Android and iOS operating systems.
2.2. Communication Protection
- Download the app only from official sources (Play Store or App Store).
- Always log out when not using the app or leaving your device unattended.
- Communication is protected by a firewall to prevent data leakage.
2.3. Application Access Protection
- Upon first registration, users receive their username and password via registered email.
- Logins require the username and password created during the first activation.
- Keep your login details (username, password, OTP) confidential.
- Bank staff will never ask for your login credentials.
- Change your password regularly and avoid predictable combinations.
