The National Commercial Bank of Timor-Leste (BNCTL), S.A., through its Business Planning and Commercialization Division (PNK), conducted a socialization session on Thursday, October 29, in Liquiçá Municipality, to share information about its banking products and services with local government officials.
The objective of this activity was to share information related to the bank’s products such as credit, deposits, types of accounts, and digital services including Internet/Mobile Banking, SMS Alerts, mobile services, remittance services, banking agents, social services, and others.
During the event, the Secretary of Social Affairs, Mr. Zito António, expressed his appreciation to BNCTL and its team for taking the initiative to disseminate information about the bank’s products and services to local authorities and municipal staff.
Participants showed great interest and actively engaged by asking questions related to access to credit, account facilities at BNCTL, and the use of digital applications, including sharing some of the challenges they face. Meanwhile, the BNCTL team also provided on-the-spot assistance to participants who wished to register for Internet/Mobile Banking.
This socialization activity forms part of BNCTL’s strategic plan to strengthen community trust in the national financial system and ensure that all Timorese have access to safe, modern, and affordable banking services.
