Díli, 19 May 2025 The National Commercial Bank of Timor-Leste (BNCTL), through the Planning, Business, and Marketing Division (PNK), represented by the Marketing team, held a socialization session on BNCTL’s products and services for nearly 80 Timorese workers who are preparing to leave for work in Australia. The event took place at the Excelsior Resort Hall in Pantai Kelapa.

The objective of this activity was to raise awareness among the workers about the importance of managing their finances effectively, using the various products and services offered by BNCTL. These include savings and deposit accounts, access to funds through Internet and Mobile Banking, money transfers to family accounts via the MoneyGram system, and the possibility of obtaining credit to start small businesses.

During the event, the BNCTL team also provided direct assistance to the workers, including opening bank accounts, registering for Internet and Mobile Banking, and responding to various questions—such as the process for registering to become BNCTL Agents upon their return to Timor-Leste.
