Dili, April 3, 2025 – The Chairman of the Executive Committee of Banco Nacional Comércio de Timor-Leste (BNCTL), S.A., Mr. Marcelo da Cruz Carvalho, and the General Director of TELEMOR, Mr. Vu Duc Nguyen (Mr. Ethan), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in the advancement of digital financial services in Timor-Leste.

The partnership will integrate BNCTL’s banking services with TELEMOR’s E-Wallet System, enabling customers to conduct fast and secure transactions through BNCTL and Mosan accounts, including QR Code payments.

This agreement will also support Mosan Agents to make cash deposits from Mosan accounts to BNCTL, strengthening access to digital financial services nationwide. Both institutions will also collaborate on the launch of new services such as loans, savings options and remittances, thus offering financial opportunities to all citizens of Timor-Leste.

This partnership represents a vision that seeks to share transparency, support and growth over time, with a positive impact on the quality of life of Timorese citizens.
